I know it’s a rumor, but if the real reason why Ruka refuses to sell her Kinoko Juice dolls outside of Japan is because she is xenophobic, then I hate to say this but, I can’t feel any kind of sympathy for her. It’s one thing to strictly regional, but if she really made it a requirement to be a…
So far the only “proof” I’ve seen of Ruka being racist is her refusing to sell to people outside of Japan(nothing to indicate that foreigners living in Japan are blocked from buying her dolls) Nevermind the added difficulties selling to foreign countries and having to deal with people who don’t speak the same language as you and the horror stories of international shipping. There are a number of people who refuse to to deal outside of their own country for those exact reasons(I haven’t yet, but there are times I’m sorely tempted)
All and all the “Ruka is racist” accusations seem to be nothing more than demonizing bullshit from the pro-recast crowd to justify the recast makers ripping off her work. All so they can have a cheap doll.
This. So much this. Not everybody speaks English or and not everybody is willing to deal with customers from all over the world. Geez, such a crime. I don’t count times when a seller online won’t ship to Europe, where I live.
But, ya, any reason is good to justify a recast purchase :3
