Barely anyone knows I have this gray cutie. It’s my golden faunus yeanling, not quite finished yet, but I have everything planned and getting there step by step. Dumpling/Soom Bygg Faceup & blushing by Ferret’s Nook Wig from Dollwig, coat Volks

Coś tam widać, a to co widać mi się podoba. ;) Z resztą i makijaż na tym zdjęciu lepiej widać, śliczny jest.

These little instruments of torture were a “must” if one wished to have shapely fingertips. One clamped one on each finger, cut one’s circulation off and got cold fingers. Ten minutes later one could admire the result.

I have a Luts Delf and I may have misplaced/lost her CoA since receiving her from Luts. I’m terrified that if I can’t find her CoA I’ll never be able to sell her because I haven’t been able to bond with her in the 6+months I’ve had her. I never want to be viewed as pro-recast or possibly banned from DoA because I can’t find her CoA. I wish this whole recast problem would just disappear. :(

#1531 (via recastconfessions)

This is what the recast people do to the secondary market, in addition to lowering the value of dolls of course.

For what it’s worth you won’t be banned simply for not having the CoA  though it might get a bit harder to sell. DoA won’t ban you for being accused of being pro-recast, they will ban people for posting pictures of recasts or I believe start talking about them or listing them on your info page.

I agree with Cheesedemon88, it might make it more difficult to sell because people are less trusting of the 2nd hand market, but not impossible if you have other things like their box. You are not going to be the only one to lose their CoA.

It might also help in general if you did a box opening when you get dolls Sadly I know some people who feel the need to do box openings to prove their doll is legit. Recasts have just cause so much distrust, but it is mainly a issue when you are trying to sell the doll.

I don’t think anyone is going to get your banned from DoA. I believe if someone reports someone to DoA for owning a recast they do have to provide proof and it is not just their say so.

But you can always take a screenshot of your original company purchase and proove the doll’s legitimity.

FS Leeke L-type real http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=947I got it years ago and meant to restore, but somehow never got around to it. I would recommend it as a project body.Quite old and with chipped knee. Scratchy here and there from seam removal - nothing a fine sandpaper won’t fix. There is yellowing, but I can’t compare it to the original color, as I’ve never seen it new. The comparison Volks body was made in 2008 and Leeke is a tad paler.I would prefer to sell in Europe.
Asking $140
Shipping (priority parcel, smaller box, body partially unstrung)$12 to Czech and Slovakia$24 - $27 to other european countriesFor other shipping options, please inquire.

Why am I not surprised that Snowgray feeling that a person got rid of their recast to avoid the backlash from the community as a good thing. Thanks for basically ignoring a person is giving up recasts out of fear of rejection. They are only doing it for acceptance, not out of realization of the harm its doing to the companies, which is what it shouldn’t be nor is this hobby is not seeking acceptance. I wish the anti recast people knew the difference and how it can ruin the hobby for a person
#1532 (via recastconfessions)

Oh, come on. What really ruins the hobby is recasters and people supporting their illegal actions.

The lack of acceptance is well earned if you take part in destroying the hobby for all of us.
